Agency Description

Northern Outreach and Clinical Services (NOCS) was founded in response to the growing need for innovative solutions required by children, youth and adults with complex needs in Northern Ontario. We are driven to provide quality services in the individual’s home community to foster a sense of belonging and connection while addressing the needs and strengths of the individual.
We also offer outreach clinical services to families, agencies, and professionals within the community to all age brackets. NOCS provides a variety of services within home, school, and community settings and our professionals are committed to working with the individual’s support teams to identify the successes and barriers to reaching full potential.
Our agency specializes in behavioural assessment and treatment of challenging behaviours for individuals with developmental disabilities and complex needs. Clinical supervision from a Board- Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) is a key component within our team for delivering quality ABA services.

Therapist Descriptions

 

Hollie Chapman, BCBA Clinical Supervisor

Hollie has been interested in teaching from an early age. She completed her Bachelor of Education at Laurentian University in 2014 but felt that she could not provide all learners with the support required to reach their full potential. She continued her education and achieved her Master of Disability Studies with a specialization in Applied Behaviour Analysis through Brock University and became a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) in 2019. Her work experience involves working in numerous settings with a variety of learners. This includes working in a specialized school program for individuals with autism spectrum disorder in Toronto for over five years. She is passionate about improving the quality of life and achieving meaningful change for all learners and caregivers that she works with!

Natasha Morin, RBT ABA Therapist

Throughout Natasha’s 10 years in the Early Childhood Sector as a Registered Early Childhood Educator, she has demonstrated a strong ability to connect with children with diverse needs. Natasha worked her way up in the childcare setting, earning the opportunity to be a Supervisor of the childcare site. Natasha has assisted many families in caring for their children and has participated in numerous school transitions with positive outcomes. She also has extensive experience working with behavioural clinicians to implement early intervention strategies in childcare settings. While working in the childcare sector, she encountered many children without resources and diagnoses, which pushed her to obtain education in Autism and Behaviour Science to help the children in her care better.
Natasha is currently working at Northern Outreach and Clinical Services as a Lead ABA Therapist. Natasha is a Registered Behaviour Technician and has completed additional trainings (Vocational Workshop, Safe Management Training and SIBSHOP Facilitator) to support groups. She is currently working on completing her Bachelor of Science in ABA Psychology and is completing her supervised fieldwork hours to become a Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analyst (BCaBA).

Sarah Cunningham, RBT ABA Therapist

Sarah has 7 years of experience working with both adults and children with a wide range of intellectual, mental and physical disabilities. She has worked with both verbal and non-verbal individuals in a variety of different settings. Sarah graduated from Laurentian University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Health and Disability. She is currently a Registered Behaviour Technician with plans to further her credentials to become a Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analyst (BCaBA). Sarah’s passion is teaching self-help and foundational skills to bring about meaningful growth and change to each individual within their daily lives.

Olivia Gove, RBT ABA Therapist

Olivia is passionate about working with young, neurodiverse learners to support them in strengthening their social, academic, and developmental skills. She graduated from Laurentian University with a degree in Psychology and is a Registered Behaviour Technician. Olivia looks forward to furthering her education with a Master’s in Behavioural Psychology. Olivia strives to create a safe and inclusive learning space for minds of all kinds in her role as an ABA therapist.

Rhea Walsh, ABA Therapist

Rhea received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Laurentian University and is currently working towards her Registered Behaviour Technician certification. She previously worked with transitional aged youth which provided her with experience in emotional regulation and crisis intervention. She is fully bilingual and is happy to provide services in English or French. Rhea has always known that she wanted to work with children and finds great satisfaction in her role as an ABA Therapist. She is very passionate about helping her learners, and their families, achieve meaningful change.

Veronica Hannah, RBT ABA Therapist

Veronica has always been passionate about education and the learning process.
Her post-secondary educational journey began with a Liberal Art Diploma from Sault College. From there, she adventured into the field of Psychology where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Windsor. She continued to seek more knowledge about child development and graduated from an Accelerated Early Childhood Education program from St Clair College. She finished her exploration of child education with a Bachelor of Education from the University of Windsor.
After graduating, Veronica applied her knowledge and volunteered in Jamaica teaching to children that were underserved. Her experiences grew, working in the Early Childhood sector for 10 years. She shifted her focus to the field of Applied Behaviour field in 2022 and became a Registered Behaviour Technician in January 2023. She is dedicated to her learner’s educational journey and their diverse needs.

Zoe Kadlec ABA Therapist

Zoe graduated from Laurentian University in June of 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. She has always had a passion for helping others and creating positive change in individuals. Her previous work involved working with individuals with dual diagnosis in a residential care environment. She is now pursuing a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and is also working toward her Registered Behaviour Technician certification.

Valerie Dufresne

Valerie began her career in 2007 and has extensive experience working with individuals within residential treatment settings. She has a strong passion for person centred practices, and is skilled in crisis intervention, person centered planning, and team leadership. Valerie is
