About
Sudbury-Manitoulin
190 Church Street Unit 2, Garson ON
The Secret Agent Society (SAS) is an evidence-based, spy-themed small-group program for children ages 8–12 who need support with social and emotional skills. Cadets learn strategies for recognizing emotions, handling challenging situations, and interacting successfully with peers through a mix of clinician-led group sessions, digital missions, and hands-on activities. Families complete brief “home missions” between sessions to help children apply their skills in real-life situations, supported by a simple tracking and reward system. Parents are taught the same tools, ensuring consistent support across home, school, and community settings.

About
Sudbury-Manitoulin
190 Church Street Unit 2, Garson ON
This group uses structured mindfulness activities as a foundation for building communication, social, and creative skills through art. Learners engage in guided breathing and sensory awareness exercises at the start of each session to support focus and emotional regulation, creating conditions for more independent participation throughout the activity. Within each session, learners practice following multi-step group instructions, planning and sequencing their projects, sharing materials with peers, and describing their completed work. Mindfulness-based transitions are used between activities to support flexible responding and reduce prompt dependency. Learners also build tolerance for unexpected outcomes in their art, and practice labeling emotions, themes, and visual elements as they create. Together, these experiences target meaningful functional skills across communication, peer interaction, and self-management in a naturalistic group setting.
