The Board of Directors of Child & Community Resources (CCR) is pleased to announce the appointment of Megan Dumais as Chief Executive Officer, effective October 14, 2025, following the planned retirement of our esteemed CEO, Sherry Fournier in December 2025.
Sherry announced her retirement in June 2025, concluding an extraordinary 33-year career with CCR. Her leadership has been nothing short of transformative. Sherry’s unwavering dedication to children and families across the northeast and northwest regions has left an indelible mark on the sector. Under her visionary guidance, CCR has become a trusted and impactful organization, particularly in the delivery of early intervention and Autism services, enriching the lives of countless families.
Sherry’s legacy is one of compassion, innovation, and resilience. Her commitment to inclusive, community-driven services has shaped the way we support children and families, and her influence will continue to be felt for years to come. As we prepare for this leadership transition, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sherry for her decades of service, her tireless advocacy, and her profound contributions to our communities. We wish her all the best in her well-earned retirement.
Stepping into the role of CEO, Megan Dumais brings over 25 years of experience in the public and non-profit sectors, with a career spanning long-term care, education, public health, and children’s mental health. She has held senior leadership roles in complex, multi-service organizations, building a proven track record in corporate governance, strategic planning, program delivery, and enterprise operations including HR, finance, IT, and communications.
Megan is widely recognized for her expertise in workplace culture, leadership development, and organizational transformation. A trusted advisor to Boards, staff teams, and community partners, she is passionate about fostering environments where individuals and teams can thrive. Recently certified as an executive coach, Megan brings a holistic, values-driven approach to leadership—anchored in integrity, compassion, and authenticity. Megan believes in creating space for others to grow, building confidence, and cultivating the conditions for people and organizations to reach their full potential.
