BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND. We are happy to offer drop-in clinics for adolescents and caregivers to access a 50- minute consultation session with Dr. Price. Clients will be able to schedule a time during one of the clinic days, where they are able to discuss any current mental health concerns, learning basic strategies that can be implemented at home and in the community, and to receive recommendations to plan for next steps.

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND. This caregiver group involves participation in a Parent Management Training (Kazdin, 2008) program that aims to enhance parenting skills to manage challenging behaviours in children, such as aggression, hyperactivity, and non-compliance. The training will take place virtually in a group session. Handouts will be emailed to participants prior to each scheduled session.

This Social Resilience Builder Group for Teens is intended for adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder, aged 13 to 18 years. This group is adapted from The Resilience Builder Program (Alvord, Zucker, & Grados, 2011) that is designed to support individuals to bounce back from stress by developing resilience and protective factors, such as self-awareness, self-regulation, flexible thinking, and social competence. All materials will be provided.
Note: All applicants must undergo an intake interview to determine eligibility.

The Cool Kids Program for ASD (Chalfant, Lyneham, Rapee, & Carroll, 2011) is an evidence-based, structured therapy designed to help children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, aged 9 to 12 years effectively identify, manage, and overcome anxiety. The program uses a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach and incorporates various techniques and strategies to help young individuals develop the skills necessary to better identify feelings, cope with anxiety, foster social skills, and improve overall function. All materials will be provided.
Note: All applicants must undergo an intake interview to determine eligibility.
Thursdays (3:30pm to 5:00pm) beginning on January 11, 2024 and running to March 28, 2024

The goal is to provide time-limited counselling to better manage emotions, improve problem-solving, and learn various coping skills.
8-session block of individual counselling to be carried out between January 8, 2024 and March 31, 2024.
Sessions dates and times will be customized to the client’s needs and in keeping with therapist availability.
Administrative staff will contact individual registrants to schedule appointments directly.
There will be 6 spaces/blocks of treatment available

Facing Your Fears (FYF) is a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) program for children and youth with ASD who experience significant symptoms of anxiety. This group focuses on helping children and their caregivers in identifying worries, developing coping strategies, and practicing managing anxiety. This group consists of 12 weekly in-person sessions. Caregiver AND child participation in each session is required.

The group will focus on increasing knowledge and understanding about one’s own emotions and the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, while learning strategies to better regulate emotions and behaviour in the face of stress and adversity.
