March Break Canvas – ABA, Art, and Social Group - Intermediate/Advanced
About
This program offers engaging art-based sessions for children aged 9–13 to enhance creativity, emotional understanding, and social skills through the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Participants will develop self-regulation, perspective-taking, self-awareness, decision-making, and mindfulness skills through a combination of individual art projects and collaborative group activities. The program emphasizes relational framing (e.g., making connections) and group interactions, while encouraging personal expression and teamwork. Advanced language and conversational skills are necessary for participants to fully engage with the program.
